One common ingredient in a lot of recipes this time of year is poultry seasoning. Not only from the rub on the *bird* but to season the stuffing. Poultry seasoning is very versatile!
It can be purchased pre-mixed but I know for sure I don’t need ANOTHER spice in my already overcrowded spice cabinet. This homemade version is quick and easy and no purchase required (that is if you already have these spices lying around)!

Poultry Seasoning

1 tablespoon dried thyme
1 ½ tablespoons dried marjoram
1 tablespoon dried rosemary
2 tablespoons dried parsley
1 ½ teaspoons onion powder
½ teaspoon garlic powder
¼ teaspoon ground nutmeg
1 teaspoon black pepper
1 teaspoon season salt
Combine all. Store in a sealed container in a cool, dark, dry place for up to 6 months.
