•There will be five phases during the contest in which Del Monte will feature a different canned variety every two weeks:

•Green beans (November 5 – November 18)

•Peaches (January 7 – January 20)

•Pears (January 21 – February 3)

•Fans will have five days during each phase to submit their best tips, and consumers will be able to vote for their favorite tip during the second week of each phase.

    I make more salads with fresh veggies than I used to. I try to sneak fruit into my husband's diet as he is not a fruit person.

    I added my Corn tamales recipe to the sweeps and I would like to share it here as well. It is a very simple and delicious recipe and an alternative for all those who don't like meat tamales. You Only need the tamales masa mix prepare as directed , mix it with a can of Del Monte Canned Corn, spread the mix on the husks and fold them. Steam for about 1 hour, you can serve them with salsa or dip, I personally like them with the avocado dip
