Take the ultimate summer treat to the next level with a new take on a classic recipe – Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough S’mores!
S’mores lover for life.
Or are you a cookie dough lover for life.
Some people are obsessed with cookie dough like I am obsessed with s’mores. They want it. They need it. They make cookies just for the sake of eating cookie dough.
That was me as a teenager.
Cookie dough obsessed.
My friends and I would get together and have cookie dough making parties…
That is until my friend’s Dad, who was a doctor, told us that raw cookie dough was bad… very, very bad. You know the raw eggs and all… Grrr… why did he have to ruin all our fun. Boo!
But honestly, not that his warnings and voiced concerns ever really stopped us… we would still make cookies and sneak raw cookie dough… just not at his house! You know we were wild and crazy teenagers and all! Ha!
Fast forward to this new day and age and the invention of egg-less cookie dough.
Well, I’m sure egg-less cookie dough has been around for a minute, but it only entered my life a few years ago. Ahhh… safe to eat cookie dough.
Today for my second recipe as part of s’mores week, I am adding that ever popular obsession (raw cookie dough ‘sneaking’) with MY infamous obsession (s’mores).
Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough S’mores ~Hello lover!~
I absolute died when I saw this brilliant s’mores idea! A classic s’more slathered in chocolate chip cookie dough. BRILLIANT!
Make it. Make it now.
Oh and make an extra batch of the ‘safe for sneaking’ raw chocolate chip cookie dough and store in the fridge. You know you want to. (I won’t tell!)

- For s’mores:
- 12 graham cracker sheets, broken in half
- 2 (1.55 ounce) bars milk chocolate
- 12 large marshmallows
- 1 batch prepared chocolate chip cookie dough
Instructions
- For chocolate chip cookie dough:
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
- Spread flour onto a small baking sheet and bake for 5 minutes. *
- In a medium-sized mixing bowl, cream together butter and both sugars until light and fluffy, about two to three minutes. Blend in vanilla and milk. Mix in flour and salt, blending until fully incorporated. Stir in chocolate chips.
- For s’mores:
- Spread one tablespoon of prepared cookie dough onto twelve of the graham crackers halves. Break chocolate bars into twelve equal pieces. Center one piece of chocolate on top of each mound of cookie dough.
- Thread marshmallow onto the end of roasting stick and roast over campfire or under oven broiler until marshmallow is toasted and begins to turn golden brown. Place toasted marshmallow on top of prepared cookie dough covered graham cracker. Top toasted marshmallow with remaining graham crackers. Gently press until marshmallow begins to ooze out the sides and chocolate begins to melt. Serve immediately. **
Notes
*Salmonella has been found in raw flour, so it is recommended to toast the flour in a 350-degree oven for 5 minutes if consuming raw.
**Marshmallows can also be microwaved for 8 to 10 seconds, or until puffed.
