Chocolate Hazelnut Frappe

May 2, 2014

Scroll down for the Chocolate Hazelnut Frappe recipe!

I love the smell of coffee.

Like… love is an understatement.

If I could have a coffee scented candle burning all.day.long I would be a happy girl.

And if I could live in a coffee shop… well that would be heaven!

My love for the smell of coffee started when I was a young girl. My Grandmother drinks coffee like most people drink water, and so her house always smelled like coffee.

That warm and rich aroma would fill her old, historic home. It would draw all of us grandkids (and her adult children as well) to the that small kitchen, hoping for some hot grits and bacon in the morning or some southern pecan pie in the afternoon.

No wonder, being a coffee drinker was in my destiny!

I have brewed a lot of coffee, since my first coffeemaker! All sorts of flavors and blends of coffee in all sorts of coffeemakers.

I have learned the features I like in a coffee maker, the type of coffee I like, and when I like my coffee (first thing in the morning and sometimes in the afternoon).

I have also learned that I love cold coffee drinks and this Chocolate Hazelnut Frappe is the perfect tasty treat for a hot summer day!

Dear Heather, I like my coffee best with just a little bit of creamer. I'm the same way. I go to bed anticipating a good cup of coffee. It is the best way to start the day.

This hazelnut frappe sounds like a real treat!

    Blessings, Catherine

I drink my daily coffee with a little flavored creamer and then treat myself to an indulgent coffee drink, like the one you are sharing about once a week!
