Everything Salmon

This easy Everything Salmon recipe, pan seared salmon topped with homemade “everything bagel” seasoning, is our go to recipe for salmon!

  • 1 tablespoon onion powder
  • 1 tablespoon poppy seeds
  • 1 tablespoon sesame seeds
  • 1 tablespoon garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon each sea salt and black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil or coconut oil
  • 4 salmon fillets


  1. In a small bowl, stir together onion powder, poppy seeds, sesame seeds, garlic powder, salt and black pepper. Set aside.
  2. Heat oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Place salmon skin-side down and cook for about 3-4 minutes. Meanwhile, sprinkle a generous amount of everything seasoning on top of the salmon flesh. Flip and finish cooking for an additional 3-4 minutes, or until cooked to your desired doneness.

Note: Everything seasoning can be made ahead of time and stored in a mason jar or plastic food storage container.
