If you are like me, when the summer hits you want to be anywhere but your kitchen! And if you are looking for a night off from cooking you should head to Johnny Carino’s!

This summer, Johnny Carino’s is happy to announce their new and improved gluten free menu, featuring 23 menu items, including items for kids. Some of the new gluten free menu options include classics like Chicken Marsala and Shrimp Florentine (both served with gluten free pasta), to Chicken Risotto Soup, Italian Wedge Salad and even pizza made with a gluten free crust provided by Udi’s Gluten Free Foods.

We recently had the opportunity to try some of the items found on the new gluten free menu at Johnny Carino’s. I always get a starter salad every time I go out to eat, and usually my top choice is a wedge salad. I was happy to see that the Italian Wedge Salad was one of the items offered on the gluten free menu. I was also pleasantly surprised to find that their version of the wedge salad had candied pecans and apple slices! Yum!

We also tried the Shrimp Florentine, with gluten free pasta, and the Tomato Bruschetta, Lemon Peppered Salmon and we had to get Tiramisu for dessert (all of which are NOT on the gluten free menu but delicious)!
