Creamsicle or Dreamsicle?
Since the first summer when my husband and I first started dating, we have had a constant friendly argument.
One hot summer day we were enjoying some of those popsicles with the ice cream in the center. I called them dreamsicles because that is what we always called them growing up. And because you know they are so dreamy!
My husband insisted I was wrong and that they were called creamsicles because they were popsicles that had ice cream in the middle.
Well, I guess that makes sense, but I will forever call them dreamsicles.
Orange Creamsicle Protein Shake
You know… you say potato and I say potahto.
Or tomato and tomahto.
Except for today. For some reason when I went to edit these photos and type up the recipe I kept saying creamsicle! I guess I can’t stop thinking of how creamy this Orange Creamsicle Protein Shake is! It is creamy with a nice layer of fresh orange flavor and it is packed with tons of protein too!
Since I have been on this smoothie/protein shake kick lately, this is another great shake to add to the rotation (inspired by my Frozen Pink Lemonade Smoothie and Chocolate Covered Strawberry Protein Shake), especially while you can still get your hands on some good fresh oranges the next few weeks. It seriously tastes like that favorite childhood treat… whatever you call it! : )
