It brings me so much JOY to carefully craft and create fun and tasty recipes for every holiday!
Over the years we have shared our Strawberry Cookies for Valentine’s Day, a red, white and blue charcuterie board for 4th of July and let’s not forget our infamous and quite controversial Hard Boiled Egg Cookies for Easter!
But what really takes the cake, no pun intended, is our love and dedication to making Halloween treats!
Yes, while we may not be THAT house with over-the-top Halloween décor, we will throw a fan freakin’ tastic Halloween party or host an ultimate Halloween movie marathon and serve the best Halloween recipes!
In fact, we have even concocted our own name for our annual Halloween dessert extravaganza and deemed it affectionately “Ghoulish Grub”!
Today’s Ghoulish Grub recipe are some cute Halloween cupcakes.
We start with some chocolate cupcakes and then whip up an INSANELY delicious Oreo Frosting to go on top. Seriously guys, this frosting is so good I could eat it straight with a spoon!
We then make the easiest Halloween cupcake decoration, Oreo Spiders, and vola, an easy Halloween dessert idea for kids!
While I totally love how a full-size cake can look stunning, I think cupcakes are so much more approachable.
Cupcakes are an ideal dessert because you don’t have to fuss with trying to stack and layer a cake, they are easy to serve, and you don’t need to be an expert cake decorator to make cupcakes look amazing.
Simply learn to pipe on some frosting and then top with some festive sprinkles or a cute decoration, in this case, those Halloween decorated Oreos!
Viloa! A dessert to impress!
